HackMT 2025
Our journey started at Middle Tennessee State University's annual hackathon, HackMT. After 36 straight hours of developing, troubleshooting, and very little sleep, YourTour had its first ever working prototype! YourTour placed 3rd, but since then it has become much bigger than just a simple project idea...
Tennessee Tech University Eagleworks Competition
YourTour then made it's way to the annual Eagleworks competition hosted by the Tennessee Tech College of Business. A step up from the idea challenge, students not only must come with an idea, but a full business plan as well. Four of our members presented and walked away with the grand prize of 10,000 dollars!
Tennessee Tech University Idea Challenge
YourTour's first public presentation was at Tennessee Tech University's Idea Challenge. Students from all majors at Tech came to pitch their ideas to judges in hopes of securing a small bit of funding. YourTour walked away with not only the 1st place prize but also the Rural Reimagined award, given to the idea with the most potential to impact rural communities.
